Responsibilities & Context:
To maintain and Capable of handling fleet of 40 trucks/covered van.
To ensure timely servicing & repair of all vehicles to keep the down time at a minimum level.
To interact with the reputed garages and get the major repairing works done at a very competitive cost.
To initiate requisition for purchase of spares and other parts of vehicles and to get approval by the authority.
To ensure timely renewal of all relevant paper of vehicles from concerned authorities and permits for newly procured vehicles.
To check all relevant bills and vouchers before sending for final approval.
To check the staffs / driver's attendance, extra hour work before sending for payment.
Tracking the vehicles while they runs in a long distance.
To Maintain liaison with Traffic Police, BRTA and other Law enforcing agencies as and when required.
To initiate disciplinary action for the Driver & departmental staffs committing misconduct.
Handling security & protocol department.
