Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure that the QMS is in place & working as envisaged. He will ensure that the existing QMS satisfies the buyer.
Look for ways of improving existing QMS so as to exceed expectations of the customer.
Ensure that buyer`s specifications are properly understood. If there is any ambiguity/ confusion, he will confirm buyer`s actual Specifications.
Ensure that all incoming, in-process & final goods are properly inspected & documented.
Ensure that all goods coming in the store are rigorously inspected for quality &or failure of quality passed garment.
Prepare a quality manual for the company so that company`s quality policy & procedures are known to all and implemented at all levels.
Ensure that quality manual includes all policy, procedures, methods & measures so as to unify actions. Ensure that supplier-customer chain in maintained in the production process.
Ensure Quality of the Fabric, and no compromise with the Fabric Quality.
Secure bulk material (fabric & Yarn) quality as per Buyer`s standards & Requirements.
Ensure routines, methods and SOPs in Production & Quality: aligned with Quality standards.
Acting as Buyer`s representative in front of factory employees.
Perform technical Quality audit periodically to ensure the system runs effectively & sustainably Participate "Fabric Risk Assessment" with sample and chemical responsible. Communicate with production and QA team to ensure feasible bulk production.
Match counter sample with approved Fabric hanger and required spec.
Must keep close monitor on Lab Dip development and approval to get accurate color/shade at sample & bulk.
Check sample fabric color/shade aesthetic quality and physical (test) performance along with sample and production responsible. Manage development calendar, manage necessary tools, and ensure direct reports completion as per deadlines.
Any other tasks assigned by the management.
