Responsibilities & Context:

A. Overall Operations Management

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the entire Foy’s Lake Complex.

  • Ensure smooth coordination among the Dry Park, Water Park, Resort and all supporting departments.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, annual business plans, budgets and performance targets.

  • Establish operational standards, SOPs, service standards and accountability mechanisms across all functions.

B. Dry Amusement Park Operations

  • Oversee all amusement rides, attractions, games, food outlets, guest facilities and related operations.

  • Ensure rides and attractions operate safely and according to approved SOPs and manufacturer/service requirements.

  • Monitor ride uptime, downtime, maintenance coordination and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure proper queue management, crowd control and guest flow.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, landscaping, signage, lighting and overall park presentation.

C. Water Park Operations

  • Oversee all water rides, pools, slides, changing rooms, lockers, showers and related facilities.

  • Ensure strict implementation of water safety, lifeguard deployment and emergency response procedures.

  • Monitor water quality, hygiene, chemical management and pool safety in coordination with Engineering/Technical teams.

  • Ensure appropriate guest capacity and crowd management in water park areas.

  • Conduct regular operational inspections to identify and eliminate safety hazards.

D. Resort Operations

  • Oversee resort operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Food & Beverage and other resort services.

  • Ensure efficient room allocation, check-in/check-out and guest service processes.

  • Maintain high standards of room cleanliness, hygiene, hospitality and service quality.

  • Monitor occupancy, room revenue, guest satisfaction and operational costs.

  • Ensure seamless coordination between resort guests and park operations.

E. Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Develop a strong customer-centric culture throughout the Complex.

  • Monitor guest feedback, complaints, online reviews and service issues.

  • Establish systems for complaint resolution and service recovery.

  • Regularly inspect guest-facing areas to ensure service standards are maintained.

  • Identify opportunities to improve guest experience, repeat visits and customer loyalty.

  • Ensure professional handling of VIPs, corporate clients, school groups, families and special events.

F. Safety, Security & Emergency Management

  • Maintain overall responsibility for operational safety and security in coordination with relevant departments.

  • Ensure effective deployment and supervision of Security, Lifeguards, First Aid/Medical and Emergency Response teams.

  • Establish and regularly review emergency response, evacuation, fire safety and disaster management procedures.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

  • Ensure all incidents, accidents and near-misses are properly reported, investigated and corrective actions implemented.

  • Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire service, medical facilities and other external agencies whenever required.

  • Maintain strict control over unauthorized access, theft, fraud, operational misconduct and other security risks.

G. Administration Management

  • Oversee all administrative activities supporting the Complex's operations.

  • Ensure effective manpower deployment, attendance, discipline, transportation, accommodation and employee welfare where applicable.

  • Coordinate with HR regarding manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, training and disciplinary matters.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Bangladesh Labour Law and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain effective communication between management and operational teams.

  • Ensure proper documentation, records and administrative controls.

H. Revenue, Cost & Commercial Control

  • Take ownership of operational revenue and cost efficiency in coordination with Finance and Commercial teams.

  • Monitor ticket sales, resort revenue, F&B revenue, ancillary revenue and other income-generating activities.

  • Identify revenue leakage, ticket irregularities, unauthorized discounts, misuse of promotional offers and other control weaknesses.

  • Control operational expenses without compromising safety or guest experience.

  • Monitor departmental budgets, cost centres and operating expenses.

  • Review daily/weekly/monthly operational and financial reports and take corrective action where required.

L. Events, Peak Season & Special Operations

  • Lead operational planning for weekends, holidays, festivals, school trips, corporate events and peak seasons.

  • Prepare manpower, security, parking, ticketing, guest-flow, F&B and emergency-response plans for high-volume periods.

  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing for promotional campaigns and special events.

  • Ensure adequate operational preparedness for VIP visits and large-scale events.

M. Business Development & Operational Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve productivity and enhance guest satisfaction.

  • Benchmark the Complex against leading amusement parks, water parks, resorts and entertainment destinations.

  • Introduce technology, automation and data-driven operational practices where appropriate.

  • Review operational processes continuously and eliminate unnecessary costs, delays and inefficiencies.

  • Provide recommendations to Management regarding new attractions, facilities, services and business opportunities.

N. Management Reporting

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly and annual operational reports to Management.

  • Provide updates on revenue, attendance, guest satisfaction, safety incidents, maintenance, manpower, costs and operational KPIs.

  • Highlight major operational risks, challenges and corrective actions.

  • Present strategic recommendations based on operational and business data.
