Experience:
M. Com/MBS/MBA in Accounting or Finance
Professional Certification: CA (CC) Completion of the certificate level is preferable
Strong skills in budget and financial statement preparation and analysis
Experience with Tax, Vat & Accounting Software (Sage 300 ERP)
Excellent in computer proficiency, communication, and presentation skills.
Capacity to work under pressure
Good interpersonal skills and an understanding of budgets and budgeting
High level of motivation, accuracy, and integrity in financial tasks
Key Areas of Accountability:
Ensure overall financial and administrative support for the project
Check/review of regular day-to-day expenditures for projects and field offices and deal with cash management
Prepare vouchers for payment and update registers accordingly
VAT & tax payments & advances accordingly
Ensure compliance with financial policies & procedures. Maintain contact with banks and other counterparts
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements
Update Books of Accounts on regular basis
Preserve invoices/vouchers in safe place
Maintain financial transaction on daily basis and report to the supervisor
Budget preparation, monitoring, and analysis
Capable of preparing monthly payroll statement with applicable calculations
Prepare different reports & need-based documents
Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual financial reports
Preparation of fund request to the donor mentioning details of the requirement
Prepare financial report & submit timely to the management & donor agency
Prepare the budget breakdown as per approval of the project budget head
Ensure that local purchase and expenditures are done as per the organizational finance/purchase policy
Maintain stock book, inventory, assets, and other essential registers properly and timely in effective manner
Participate in the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the organizational procurement policies and procedures
Capable of preparing financial statements
Support the internal and External Audit team
Respond to audit queries
Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops to update knowledge and skills as assigned and disseminate new knowledge/information/lessons learned.
Understanding gender and organizational Gender Policy and act accordingly
Willing to visit in field level & support NGOAB-related compliance when needed
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line management.
