  • Advanced IT skills, Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Experience in Tally ERP 9 software

  • Very good command of MS Excel.

  • Have outstanding skills and expertise in communicating by email and the internet.

  • Deep professional and technical understanding of Accounts, their diversification, and ways to adapt them as per the requirement of donor agencies;

  • Demonstrated track record of establishing and managing finance and accounting systems, overseeing and working with audits, and strong familiarity with TALLY, Taxes, VAT, and other related local regulations.

  • Understanding of the Government of Bangladesh’s financial, accounting, and banking requirements.

  • Familiar with NGO Bureau rules & regulations.

  • Working experience on FD-6, FD-7 and FC-1Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English and Bangla, including the ability to compose, edit, analyze and report using complex information



Responsibilities & Context:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of payment vouchers with ensuring deduction of Taxes & VAT;
  • Keeping invoices, staff advances other documents and records properly & safely;
  • Data entry in accounting system (Tally ERP 9);
  • Maintain and update all bill and vouchers of every expenses of the program;
  • Ensure maintenance of purchase procedures;
  • Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial report and submit to Assistant Coordinator- Accounts within 5th day of each following month so that Assistant Coordinator can submit it within 10th day of each month to CDD management & also donor agencies;
  • Ensure the accounts keeping and establish a financial controlling mechanism within all the project under LF-CDD Partnership program;
  • Timely disburse fund to partner NGOs as per recommendation of Assistant Coordinator- Accounts;
  • Assist Assistant Coordinator- Accounts for periodic Statutory Audit of different project under LF-CDD Country Program;
  • Every kind of financial transaction must comply with CDD & LF policy & procedure;
  • Maintain Patty Cash & Update regular basis within CDD allowable limit;
  • Prepare day close patty cash report & reviewed taken from Assistant Coordinator- Accounts;
  • Timely deposit VAT & Tax outstanding & Update register regular basis;·       Issue Mushok 6.6 in favor of different vendors;
  • Prepare monthly cash flow statement of all project under LF-CDD partnership Program;
  • Assist Assistant Coordinator- Accounts in all sorts of Accounting tasks as well as Program financial management if necessary;
  • Carry out any assigned task needs to be accomplishing within the due time as instruction given by Assistant Coordinator- Accounts and Head Office Financial Personnel ;
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and Annual Project Financial Reports; 
  • Visit respective partner NGO offices to oversee the bills, documents and booking of expenses in correct & appropriate manner;
  • Be a Team player with self-motivated & self-driven;
  • Good knowledge to Operate MS Office Application (Specially MS Word & MS Excel);
  • Check OFAC before any payment process & Ensure Revenue Stamp where applicable;
  • Any other assignment provided by the organization.

  • CDD is planning to recruit one Finance & Accounts Officer under project titled ‘Strengthening Early Identification & Early Intervention for the Children with Disabilities’ supported by Liliane Foundation (LF). The Finance & Accounts Officer is expected to support to the development of all financial matters related to all project under LF-CDD Partnership Program. The Finance & Accounts Officer will be responsible for assisting on the financial management of all the project and maintenance of accurate accounting in accordance with the project document and CDD’s Guidelines. The Finance & Accounts Officer will work with Assistant Coordinator- Accounts for financial management of all project under LF Country Program. The duration of the project is till December-2025.
