∎ At least 5 years of experience in a similar position working with/for a European retailer or customer.
∎ Proven experience in fabric sourcing, development, and technical validation.
∎ Familiarity with fabric testing standards (ISO, EN ISO standards, AATCC, ASTM, etc.)
∎ Experience working with PLM systems and good command of Microsoft Office tools.
∎ Fluent in Bangla and English, both spoken and written.
∎ At least 5 years of experience in a similar position working with/for a European retailer or customer.
∎ Proven experience in fabric sourcing, development, and technical validation.
∎ Familiarity with fabric testing standards (ISO, EN ISO standards, AATCC, ASTM, etc.)
∎ Experience working with PLM systems and good command of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assess and validate fabric quality, construction, colorfastness, shrinkage, and other performance parameters according to buyer standards.
∎ Collaborate with design, product development, and buying teams to ensure correct fabric selection for seasonal developments.
∎ Review fabric specifications and test reports to ensure compliance with brand standards.
∎ Liaise with mills and vendors for bulk fabric approval, lab dips, handloom, strike-offs, and print developments
∎ Provide technical support to factories and mills on resolving issues related to fabric quality such as shading, GSM variation, pilling, skewness, bowing, dyeing faults, and weaving defects.
∎ Monitor fabric testing processes in third-party labs and analyze results for submission to the head office.
∎ Work closely with the Garment Technician and Quality Controller to align fabric performance with garment construction requirements
∎ Evaluate and manage fabric performance throughout the production process to prevent end-stage garment defects.
∎ Maintain fabric library and manage records of fabric developments and approvals.

∎ Job Responsibilities
