• Must have knowledge of Computer skills in MS Office package (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

The Management of a reputed Group of Companies owning large 100% Export oriented Woven and Knit RMG units is looking for Qualified & Dynamic “Fabric Manager (Knitting & Dyeing)” for immediate appointment.

• Collaborate with the merchandising and design teams to understand fabric requirements and specifications for fabric development, sampling and bulk orders.

• To achieve desired fabric characteristics and quality, candidates must have in-depth knowledge about various knitting process parameters, such as yarn type, stitch density, gauge, tension, fabric structure etc. 

• Must have know-how on how to evaluate fabric swatches based on color consistency, hand feel, composition, shrinkage, durability, and other relevant parameters.

• A strong technical knowledge of yarns, fabrics, print processes, knit/ woven construction, fabric finishes, washing techniques.

• An analytical understanding of color is essential.

• Good knowledge in costing and knowing the current yarn/fabric prices in the market and be able to provide costings to marketing team accurately and swiftly.

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and quality work as a team.

• Must ensure quick yarn procurement upon receipt of bookings from merchandisers.

• Prepare Knitting and Dyeing plan and provide fabric delivery flow to merchandisers and planning department.

• Follow up Time & Action (TNA) with the factory to ensure timely fabric in-house.

• Must have prepare report on production, maintenance, people, quality, safety, consumption, monthly stock, and production cost as assigned.

• Must ensure fabric is in-housed on time to ensure on-time cutting and update quality and merchant team.

• Must oversee fabric inspection report and ensure fabric match against approved parameters.

• Must have good knowledge about commercial aspects, such as L/C, UD and others.

• Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of production wastage.

• Any other relates job(s) as assign by the management time to time.
