Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical
• Diploma in Electrical
• HSC (Vocational)

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / HSC (Vocational)

• 3 to 5 years

• Age 25 to 35 years

• 3–5 years of experience in operating extrusion machinery, preferably in PE foam or plastic extrusion industry.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of PE foam extrusion process and machinery.

• Ability to read and understand production work orders and machine setting parameters.

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Job Purpose:

To operate and monitor the PE foam extruder machine efficiently and safely, ensuring continuous production of high-quality foam sheets or rolls according to production specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate PE foam extruder machines according to production orders and specifications.

• Adjust temperature, pressure, speed, and other parameters to ensure optimal output and foam quality.

• Monitor the extrusion process to ensure consistent product thickness, density, and surface quality.

• Perform regular quality checks on foam products (e.g., density, thickness, appearance).

• Report and correct deviations or defects in the product promptly. Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

• Load raw materials (resin, blowing agents, color master batch, etc.) into the hopper.

• Monitor material usage and ensure proper documentation of batch numbers.

• Minimize raw material waste and contribute to scrap reduction efforts.

• Perform routine machine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the maintenance team. Ensure the extruder and surrounding area are kept clean and organized.

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, especially chemicals and hot surfaces. Immediately report safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor.

• Maintain accurate production logs including machine settings, material usage, and output quantities.
