We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive / Sr. Executive – SCM (Yarn) to join our Supply Chain team. The role involves effective yarn procurement, vendor management, inventory control, and cost optimization to support business growth. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in yarn sourcing, vendor negotiations, and sustainability initiatives while working closely with Finance and R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and stabilize yarn procurement costs while ensuring profit improvement.
Maintain yarn budget within allocated sales contract ratio.
Control inventory within optimal levels and ensure smooth pipeline flow.
Minimize non-productive time in yarn operations.
Conduct vendor performance evaluations, classifications, and ratings based on cost, quality, and timely delivery.
Develop and diversify vendors across all categories.
Plan and conduct vendor audits and regular capacity visits.
Verify vendor bills, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with Finance for timely payments.
Source new fiber and yarn brands to support company sustainability goals.
Organize training programs on process, product, communication, and consignment tracking.
Collaborate with R&D team on cost estimation and material selection for new product development.
