Responsibilities & Context:

• Production planning and scheduling based on sales trends and market demand while optimizing manufacturing efficiency and costs.

• Monitoring TAT & adjusting schedules as needed to respond to any changes in demand or production capacity.                                         

• Establishing/Negotiating with subcontractors, suppliers & vendors to ensure fair terms and mutual understanding of obligations.                                                                                    

• Establishing trust and effective communication with subcontractors to ensure successful outsourcing projects.                                                                           

• Ensuring effective communication between production/subcontractor teams and management to align on priorities and targets.                         

• Overseeing the completion of outsourced work on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.                                                          

• Evaluating the performance of external stakeholders and ensuring they meet their contractual obligations.                                                                  

• Leveraging the expertise and resources of subcontractors to reduce costs and improve efficiency. 

• Coordinating with logistics and warehousing to ensure timely dispatch and storage of products.

• Monitor inventory levels and manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock.                                

• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, quality control, maintenance, sales, and R&D to ensure smooth production flow.                                                                           

• Prepare and present reports to senior management and track KPIs such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and resource utilization to prepare strategic decisions.  

• Manage production planning staff, provide guidance, training and mentorship and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Implement and manage production planning software and data analysis tools to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency of production operations.
