Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 25 years
  • Sound knowledge of SOLAS, ISM Code, Flag State, Classification Society, and maritime regulatory requirements.

  • Familiarity with marine safety and navigation equipment, including GMDSS, EPIRB, AIS, Radar, ECDIS, Lifeboats, Liferafts, Fire Detection Systems, CO₂ Systems, SCBA, and related equipment.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent operational requirements.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Coordinate the servicing, inspection, certification, and supply arrangements of Life Saving Appliances (LSA), Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA), and Radio & Navigation equipment for fleet vessels.

  • Review vessel requisitions, identify technical requirements, and liaise with shipboard personnel to ensure timely execution of service and supply activities.

  • Collect and evaluate quotations from approved vendors and prepare comparison statements, approval notes, and procurement documentation.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, service stations, freight forwarders, agents, and vessels to ensure timely delivery of equipment, spare parts, and certification services worldwide.

  • Monitor annual and periodic surveys of LSA, FFA, GMDSS, and navigational equipment in compliance with Flag State, Classification Society, SOLAS, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Verify service reports, certificates, invoices, delivery documents, and process payment documentation through SAP and internal approval systems.

  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and overseas agents, including USCG-related service requirements, ensuring compliance and timely documentation.

  • Track service schedules, certification validity, and survey due dates to prevent operational disruptions and compliance deficiencies.

  • Handle urgent service arrangements arising from Port State Control (PSC), Flag State, Class, or operational observations and ensure prompt resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement, certifications, inspections, and service activities while preparing management reports as required.
