Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Category Manager to lead product selection, inventory management, and category performance across our retail network. This is a strategic role reporting to the Operations leadership, ideal for a professional with a passion for fashion retail and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee product selection and category strategy aligned with brand guidelines and customer demand

• Monitor category KPIs including sales velocity, inventory turnover, and margin performance

• Manage SKU rationalization and seasonal product transitions

• Coordinate with brand partners on stock planning and promotional calendars

• Lead inventory optimization to minimize shrinkage and obsolescence

• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and actionable insights

• Train and mentor retail staff on product knowledge and category positioning

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail category management or equivalent

• Proven track record in fashion, apparel, or premium retail

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation

• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities

• Knowledge of Bangladeshi and South Asian fashion market preferred

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale platforms

• Familiarity with supply chain and sourcing processes

• Background in Pakistan or Bangladesh premium fashion retail
