Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Printing to manage end-to-end printing operations from sample development to bulk production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage printing operations from sample development to bulk production and ensure smooth production flow.

  • Prepare monthly production plans based on order schedules and ensure timely execution.

  • Ensure buyer-approved samples are properly implemented in bulk production with required corrections.

  • Develop and monitor technical layout plans and resolve printing-related technical issues.

  • Review daily production plans and adjust alternative plans to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Coordinate with concerned departments in case of delays and ensure timely communication.

  • Ensure buyer approval of samples before bulk production and handle buyer technical queries.

  • Prepare unit-wise production and cost reports, including consumables like dyes and chemicals, and submit monthly analysis.

  • Identify cost reduction opportunities through wastage control, RFT improvement, and optimal resource utilization.

  • Participate in daily production planning meetings (3P) and align printing capacity with production plan.

  • Prepare and implement SOPs and ensure adherence across the printing team.

  • Support implementation of 5S/6S and lean manufacturing initiatives for continuous improvement.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the printing team while ensuring discipline and performance improvement.
