• We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Technician to join our Fire Department, Engineering & Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of all fire safety systems across our hospital campuses.

It is a sister concern of prominent companies such as Nannu Spinning Mills Limited (Yarn Production: 92 tons/day), Nannu Textiles Mills Limited (Fabric Production: 153 million meters/year), Bexi Fabrics, etc. We are searching for ambitious, talented, and seasoned individuals to establish this project to be one of the best in the country.

• Perform routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of

• Fire Alarm System (addressable & conventional)

• Fire Detection Devices (smoke, heat, multi-sensor detectors)

• Public Address (PA) / Voice Evacuation System

• Manual Call Points (MCP)

• Fire Hydrant & Standpipe System

• Fire Sprinkler System

• Fire Pumps (Jockey, Main Electric, Diesel)

• Fire Gas Suppression Systems (FM200 / Novec / CO₂)

• Portable Fire Extinguishers

• Ensure all systems are operational as per design and safety standards.

• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective maintenance of fire systems.

• Identify and rectify issues such as false alarms, loop faults, pressure drops, pump failures, etc.

• Conduct periodic testing (weekly, monthly, quarterly) as per NFPA / BNBC / hospital policy.

• Maintain logs and records of all inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulatory requirements.

• Respond immediately to fire alarms and system faults.

• Assist in fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.

• Ensure readiness of all fire safety equipment at all times.

• Maintain system drawings, manuals, and maintenance records.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports.

• Report system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

• Work closely with Mechanical, electrical, and civil teams.

• Act as the primary liaison officer with FSCD and coordinate during any inspection/ visit/ audit by FSCD.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), NFPA standards, FSCD requirements, and relevant safety regulations.

• Regularly conducts in-house fire drills, emergency evacuation training, and firefighting workshops for Hospital staff in coordination with FSCD.

• Assist in upgrading of fire systems.
