• B. Sc Textile/ Mechanical/ IPE / Social Science from a recognized public or private university.

• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing (cutting, sewing, finishing) 

• Expertise in production planning, line balancing, and SMV calculation 

• Proficiency in lean practices (5S, Kaizen), and productivity tools 

• In-depth knowledge of quality standards (AQL, inline/final inspection) 

• Awareness of compliance standards, audit protocols, and labor laws 

• Ability to lead large teams and manage cross-functional coordination 

• Strong planning, problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills 

• Effective communication, conflict resolution, and motivation capabilities

• Lead cutting, sewing, and finishing operations to ensure OTIF delivery with no air or short shipments, meeting buyer expectations and shipment commitments.

• Plan and execute daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders and 100% on-time shipment.

• Ensure adherence to quality checkpoints to deliver right-first-time garments and meet buyer specifications.

• Minimize fabric and trim wastage to control costs and protect profitability.

• Coordinate closely with IE, QA, Planning, and Maintenance teams to align production flow with business targets.

• Enforce compliance with safety protocols and social standards to maintain buyer trust and avoid audit issues.

• Mentor and develop Production Managers, Line Chief’s and line supervisors to build a high-performing, accountable production team in order to build a motivated, skilled workforce.

• Monitor and review key production indicators (KPI, line efficiency, DHU) to drive performance improvement.

• Resolve production bottlenecks and technical issues to ensure smooth workflow and prevent shipment delays.

• Collaborate with merchandising and commercial teams to align production with order priorities and customer needs.
