Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and implement standardized SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), workflows, and best practices for all Sample Room activities.
Build a robust, system-driven Sample Room operation that ensures consistency, efficiency, accountability, and minimal dependency on individuals.
Establish KPIs, productivity standards, quality control checkpoints, and monitoring mechanisms for continuous performance improvement.
Design and implement effective planning, tracking, and reporting systems for sample development.
Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead time, eliminate rework, and improve sample quality.
Train, coach, and develop the Sample Room team to ensure compliance with established systems and procedures.
Foster a culture of discipline, ownership, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Manage the overall operations of the Sample Room and ensure the timely delivery of development samples.
Lead, supervise, and maintain discipline among Sample Room personnel, including Pattern Makers, Sample Men, Cutter Men, Tailors, and Helpers.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Technical, and QA teams to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
Ensure sample quality, fitting, workmanship, and on-time completion.
Plan and allocate manpower efficiently to maximize productivity.
