Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise the Quality Control team to ensure all products meet buyer requirements and company quality standards.

2. Prepare daily QC planning and allocate inspectors to production lines.

3. Monitor in-line, patrol, and final inspections to identify and minimize defects.

4. Ensure all quality inspections are carried out according to approved SOPs, buyer manuals, and AQL standards.

5. Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

6. Coordinate with Production, IE, Maintenance, and Merchandising departments to resolve quality-related issues promptly.

7. Conduct quality meetings with production teams and follow up on improvement actions.

8. Review first-off samples, pilot production, and pre-production requirements before bulk production starts.

9. Ensure all quality records, inspection reports, and documentation are properly maintained.

10. Train and develop QC Inspectors, Line QC, and quality staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.

11. Monitor DHU (Defects per Hundred Units), Right First Time (RFT), and other quality KPIs to achieve company targets.

12. Ensure compliance with buyer quality requirements and support internal and external quality audits.

13. Verify that measuring instruments and testing equipment are properly calibrated and used correctly.

14. Investigate customer complaints and quality claims, prepare investigation reports, and implement preventive measures.

15. Work closely with the finishing and packing departments to ensure only approved products are shipped.

16. Ensure all rejected, altered, or repaired garments are properly identified and controlled.

17. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports for management.

18. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and rejection rates.

19. Maintain discipline, safety, and good housekeeping within the QC department.

20. Perform any other duties assigned by management related to quality assurance and product compliance.
