Responsibilities & Context:
Plan, organize and supervise daily sewing production activities to achieve production targets.
Ensure smooth production flow with optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
Monitor hourly, daily and monthly production efficiency and prepare production reports.
Coordinate with Merchandising, IE, Planning, Quality, Cutting, Finishing and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
Ensure production is completed within the approved Time & Action (T&A) plan.
Monitor line balancing and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
Analyze production bottlenecks and take immediate corrective actions.
Maintain required quality standards throughout the sewing process.
Conduct pre-production (PP) meetings and ensure all production requirements are fulfilled before bulk production.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, SOPs, and company policies.
Monitor WIP (Work in Process) and minimize production delays.
Reduce rejection, alteration and rework through effective production control.
Lead, motivate and develop production teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping (5S), and compliance with health & safety standards.
Prepare daily production, efficiency, DHU and shipment status reports for management.
Handle urgent production challenges and implement effective solutions to meet shipment deadlines.
Work closely with Industrial Engineering (IE) team to improve production performance.
Ensure all production processes comply with buyer compliance requirements and operational standards.
Any other related tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
