Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibility:
Develop new fabric structures, finishes, and product innovations as per buyer requirements
Coordinate with Knitting, Dyeing, and Finishing teams for sample development
Analyze fabric performance (GSM, shrinkage, color fastness, etc.)
Work closely with Merchandising & Production to ensure feasibility
Conduct trials and maintain proper documentation of R&D activities
Support cost optimization through fabric development and process improvement
Ensure compliance with buyer standards and sustainability requirements
