Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production
  • Bachelor`s degree in any of the following disciplines from a reputed university: Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)/ Textile Engineering/Fashion Design & Technology/ Other relevant Engineering fields.

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • 4–6 years of experience in Industrial Engineering (preferably in garments Industry).

  • 0–3 years of experience; fresh graduates with strong academic background may also apply.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge in IE tools (LEAN, KAIZEN, 5S, SMED) etc.

  • Sound knowledge of SMV, OB, capacity planning.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic IE software.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team under pressure.



Responsibilities & Context:

Industrial Engineering Department (Garments)

Vacancy:

05 for fresher Training-IE

03 for Experience- IE

Responsibilities:

Line Balancing & Capacity Study:

  • Conduct daily line capacity studies.
  • Implement and monitor line balancing for assigned production lines.
  • Ensure smooth line feeding in coordination with Production and Planning.

Motion & Method Study:

  • Conduct time-motion analysis to identify bottlenecks.
  • Implement standard work practices (SWP) using LEAN and KAIZEN tools.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements and cost reduction ideas.

SMV Calculation & OB Preparation:

  • Analyze styles and calculate SMVs using PDTS / historical data. - Prepare Operation Bulletins (OB) and machine layouts.
  • Floor Monitoring & Productivity Tracking:
  • Monitor sewing lines and guide operators to meet daily targets.
  • Drive first-hour 90% achievement strategies.
  • Maintain daily efficiency, DHU, and KPI tracking logs.

Data Reporting & KPI Management:

  • Maintain central capacity and style-wise SMV database.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly IE performance reports.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
  • Support production planning, quality, and HR in manpower deployment.
  • Attend PP meetings and provide IE insights for production readiness.

Skill Matrix & Operator Profiling:

  • Develop and maintain operator skill matrices across lines.
  • Align skill levels with style requirements to maximize output.

Manpower Recruitment & Training:

  • Assist HR in recruiting technically skilled operators and helpers.
  • Organize training sessions for upgrading skills and efficiency.

Productivity Tools & IE Concepts:

  • Implement 5S, 7S, and other IE tools to ensure a structured and efficient workplace.
  • Promote continuous improvement culture using LEAN, KAIZEN, SMED, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, improve line discipline, and increase output.
