Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Execute potato base yearly exportable crop production program by aligning both volume and cost target.
∎ Ensure required preparation for suitable block (Land) / actual farmer selection and generating good relationship with farmers for smooth execution of production target.
∎ Ensure quality processed / export & seed potato production by aligning required intercultural operations i.e. fertilizer application, pesticide & fungicide management, irrigation, weeding, roughing and labor management.
∎ To ensuring all data collection of farmer and cultivated crop by field officer.
∎ Ensure contact growers agreement & execute capacity building training of contact growers.
∎ Justify impute distribution properly within contact growers.
∎ Check rouging, spraying, intercultural activities and report to the supervisor.
∎ Accomplish field curing, shade curing, sorting and grading.
∎ To ensure product collection and storage smoothly.
∎ To arrange all document for ensuring farmer payment smoothly.
∎ Maintain stock and all documents regularly.
∎ Supervise production team, labour, farmer & other related person.
∎ Follow the safeguard reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Do any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
