Responsibilities & Context:
To ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical, electronic, and automation systems of the cement plant:
Key Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot HT/LT, MCC, PCC, transformers, switchgear, motors, VFDs, and control panels.
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Monitor equipment performance and minimize electrical/automation-related downtime.
Support installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of electrical and automation systems.
Conduct root-cause analysis of recurring electrical and automation failures and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety, LOTO, PTW, and other plant safety requirements.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, drawings, checklists, and technical reports.
Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, Process, and other departments for uninterrupted plant operation.
Identify opportunities for energy saving, automation improvement, reliability enhancement, and maintenance cost optimization.
