• Freshers - require a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.

• For this position, 3-5 years of experience is required in handling welding lines at a manufacturing plant.

• Should be familiar with MS Office, especially in MS Excel.

• Good communication skills in Bangla & English are a must.

• Working experience with the SAP environment will be preferred.

The – Engineer Production (Welding) has to achieve and deliver production ensuring consistent quality and maximum efficiency as per the installed capacity following the model sequence as per the production plan. The responsibilities for this position are as follows;

• Custodian for achieving production volumes as per the set standards.

• Train Operators on multi-skilling, to continue to deliver output,- even counsel operators in case of absenteeism.

• Maintain proper IR (Industrial Relations) with all Operators, with disciplinary control.

• Adhere to the set process parameters and achieve the production volume.

• Conduct morning meetings with all Operators and summarize the previous day`s achievement, Quality issues, and the day`s plan.

• Conduct shift PDCA for Quality and Delivery performance.

• Audit and improve cleanliness, JH, MHF. Identify & prevent unsafe conditions, to ensure the safety of Operators.

• Take corrective action for in-house, PDI & customer complaints.

• Coordinate with other sections / Depts. For Supplier / Feeder parts.

• Review sequence plan for the availability of MIW & Bought out parts.

• Carry out Jig / Fixture calibration& maintenance of all equipment. Control of non-conforming products.

• Review cell performance measures and OEE Improvement.

• Implement productivity, quality & cost-saving projects.

• Train & Deploy workmen as per skill matrix & organize resources for production.

• Train & Coach Operators about the welding process.Issue and control PPE items as per Consumption norms.

• Ensure the part parameters & process parameters are within specification.

• Ensure the 5S & 3R are maintained in input/output.

• Stop, correction & restart process in case of nonconformity observed in line.

• Carry out production posting in the SAP module.

• Ensure the safe operation of man & Machine.

• Implement small Kaizens to eliminate the identified losses

• Motivate & support workman to implement Suggestions.

• Monitor & review workman on quality & delivery performance measures and attendance.  Identification & Implementation of QCC projects related to policy & MPCP.

• Workman work skill development.

• Take corrective action for pin/tool breakage.

• Conduct hourly SDCA for production loss, customer complaints, and scrap.
