Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To be manage various environment and chemical related Online platform like Higg index, ZDHC, BVe (Bureau Veritas Environment Emission Evaluator) for H&M chemical Inventory, STeP by H&M etc.
∎ Prepare H&M required (for PD data) all kind of Sustainability related documents such as Electricity consumption, Gas consumption, Boiler gas & steam consumption, water consumption data.
∎ Prepare documents for Higg index and STeP by Oeko-Tex.
∎ Analyze MSDS with CAS#, GHS pictogram, cross-check CAS# in DHC MRS and make sure that chemical and out of 11 priorities banned and restricted groups;
∎ Maintain all kind of training such as Chemical handling, Environmental health & safety, wastage handling & disposal, EMS, Risk assessment for all section
∎ Maintain EHS & Wastage committee meeting and follow the instruction. Ensure proper chemical storage in chemical store according CMS guideline, distribution sub-store, Accessories, printing, ETP and all relevant applicable area.
∎ Conduct local/Bangla MSDS/SDS and label for all chemical in all chemical using area;• Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, printing, ETP, spot removing room, and all relevant applicable area.
∎ Report storing, Data analyzing, root cause analyzing, follow up, monitoring & regular training on safe chemical management.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE Standards & ECR-1997. Carry out investigations if any test failures. Ensure environmental health and safety requirements (chemicals).
∎ Regular follow-up on ETP operation. And fulfill the entire ETP performance related requirement.
∎ Prepare Chemical inventory as per Buyer requirement.
∎ Ensure the safety of all chemical processes and products in the company and also keep the premises free from all chemical toxicities.
∎ Conduct awareness training programs to workers along with top management on 3R policy, water savings, Energy savings, Waste reduction, Chemical Handling, Environmental Management System, and buyer's Code of Conduct.
∎ Ensure external health checkups for all Chemical handling personnel.
∎ Conduct Environment and Chemical Risk Assessment and confirm CAP.
∎ Periodically assess air emission, noise level and others environmental aspects. Maintain EHSSelf-Assessment, Chemical Restriction & water self-assessment
∎ Arrange & maintain all ECR related Documents for Social & Environmental Compliance accordingly. Ensure proper segregation of all kinds of wastes according to hazards.
