• Age At least 35 years

• The selected candidate must stay in Cox’s Bazar for the duration of the assignment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in education research, curriculum review, or inclusive education.

• Practical experience promoting child-centered and GESI-responsive teaching practices.

• Expertise in inclusive pedagogy and curriculum analysis.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.

• Collaborative, culturally sensitive, and gender-inclusive.

• High integrity and professionalism.

• Strong research, analysis, facilitation, and report-writing skills (Bangla & English).

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital data tools (Kobo, ODK, Survey Solutions) is an advantage.

About the Project:

Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be (GESI) project aims to create school environments where children are taught and experience gender equality and social inclusion and actively contribute to shaping these values. It will focus on what children value as essential to living a good life and their ability to do and be, also referred to as children’s valued capabilities.

Role Summary:

Education Specialists will provide technical leadership to strengthen inclusive, child-centered, and GESI-responsive teaching and learning practices in public schools. The role includes reviewing curriculum, guiding school-level improvements, and building the capacity of teachers and stakeholders to promote meaningful, equitable learning experiences for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review curriculum and teaching materials to identify inclusiveness and GESI gaps.

• Provide technical guidance on child-centered and inclusive pedagogy.

• Facilitate capacity-building sessions for teachers and education stakeholders.

• Support qualitative and quantitative research, assessments, and data analysis.

• Work closely with schools, government officials, and project partners to improve teaching quality.

• Produce concise policy briefs, documentation, and learning reports

• This is a contractual assignment for a duration of 20 days, with a total contract value of 2,00,000 Taka (inclusive of all VAT and taxes).

• VAT & Tax will be deducted as per Government policy.
