Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of the position is to take leadership role of SELP through facilitation, conduction, management and implementation of programme in district level for ensuing community mobilization against gender based violence and supporting women who have faced violence.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop District level Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ensure implementation accordingly
∎ Conduct training and workshop for women leaders on assessment based social and legal issues
∎ Organize and conduct coordination meeting with panel lawyers and participate District Legal Aid Committee meeting
∎ Follow up Community (PS and UCF) meeting on women empowerment and legal rights for ensuring quality and on job staff capacity building
∎ Conduct School campaign with student and Engaging Men and Boys session for engaging them to prevent VAWC
∎ Ensure protection support for violence survivors (medical treatment support, DNA test, support from OCC, rehabilitation support)
∎ Legal Aid clinic activities follow-up for ensuring the quality services
∎ Ensuing case forwarding, court case follow-up and coordination with panel lawyers & Programme Organizer
∎ Conduct Monthly staff coordination meeting at district level and participate in different meeting (Internal and external stakeholders)
∎ Ensure staff benefit and take necessary administrative steps as per HR policy & procedure and mitigate audit issues
∎ Maintain close coordination networking and liaison with technical officers, district level relevant government offices and relevant stakeholder
∎ Ensure expenditure according to the budget, take steps for actual coding of expenditure, Panel Lawyers bill checking, bill payments and ensure logistic support
∎ Provide critical feedback on programme design, module, implementation guideline and programmatic issues
∎ VAWC reporting through customized software and ensure reporting as per requirement of programme
