Educational Requirements:
∎ Medical Graduate (MBBS) with BM&DC registration from a recognized institute with MPH OR,
∎ 4 year diploma in Nursing with BN&MC registration OR,
∎ Medical Assistant with MPH OR,
∎ Bachelor's or higher degree in Public Health with major in Hospital Management/Emergency health

Job Context:
∎ The hubs will be staffed by Community Paramedics, Team Leaders, and Community Volunteers to ensure appropriate triage and ensuring continuous community feedback and information sharing, while working in their own community where they are trusted and can have the greatest impact. Each referral hub will have a referral pathway which indicates the closest 24/7 facility to reduce the time it takes for a woman to seek life-saving services.
∎ The Dispatch and Referral Unit (DRU) will work closely with the referral hubs to coordinate movements of vehicles to ensure appropriate referrals and reduce the time taken to transfer beneficiaries. The DRU will work closely with the 24/7 health care facilities to map capacity and ensure that one facility is not over burdened with transfers and to coordinate if a facility should close. The Sr. DRU officers (5 in total) will coordinate the 24/7 referrals and will act as the point of contact between secondary facilities and referral hub staff.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Log all emergency requests, allocating categorization and prioritization codes
∎ Track requests to ensure emergency situations are responded to, keeping relevant parties updated on the status of their requests
∎ Communicate and liaise with relevant parties to ensure requests are promptly acted upon.
∎ Intensify major incidents to the DRU Manager
∎ Maintain and update database of ambulance services, health facility capacity, road closures, and other services as appropriate
∎ Use phone or computer to send MMTs, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
∎ Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
∎ Liaise with hospital focal points and maintain a 'live' health facility capacity board
∎ Maintain 'live' CNG and ambulance dispatch board

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 2 years of clinical experience in EMT and/or Medical dispatch
∎ Working experience in the field of emergency response is preferred
∎ Previous dispatch experience is preferred
∎ People who have knowledge in Chittagogian/ local dialects and culture will get preference
∎ Excellent planning and organizational skills
∎ Ability to deal with competing demands and requests
∎ Must be a teammate with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy
∎ Must adhere to confidentiality policies and codes of conduct
∎ Ability to think critically in complex situations
∎ Ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptive
∎ Must be computer literate (Word and Excel)
∎ Fluency in Bangla and/or Chittagonian, and English
