Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Law, "Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE)" or any other relevant subject from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide Technical support to project team on Case Management and oversee successful implementation and coordination of GBV response to support vulnerable women and girls from camps, urban areas and hard to reach area.
∎ Clear knowledge on GBVIMS & GBVIMS Plus.
∎ Contribute to the identification of any gaps with a view to generating ideas for future projects.
∎ Demonstrate innovative thinking and an in-depth knowledge of the field of GBV Response & community mobilization.
∎ Develop a training curriculum for each target audience/training method that addresses issues of women's rights, violence against women, unequal power dynamics, challenging patriarchal structures and social norms that are harmful to women, and promoting the economic empowerment of women.
∎ Coordinate advocacy campaigns to sensitive women/ men on the harmful effects of violence against women and other practices that discriminate against women.
∎ Coordinate with project manager and sector lead to provide technical support to ensure a high standard of implementation of strategy and activities of GBV response and risk mitigation.
∎ Support to develop Program/ sector plan, budget plan, activity plan and operational procedure, guidelines.
∎ Prepare periodic reports (narrative and quantitative) for donors, government and organization.
∎ Provide technical support on programme quality and accountability standards and measures.
∎ Work with donors to create ongoing partnerships.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 3 years of experience in gender issues and their application in humanitarian or development settings.
∎ Clear demonstrated interest, enthusiasm, commitment to working with women and girls, diversified genders, their rights, safety, empowerment and improving their access to resources and services.
∎ Demonstrated understanding of the impact and dynamics of gender inequality
∎ Thorough understanding of best practices and evidence-based strategies in GBV response (case management, psychosocial support, legal support, medical support) and GBV secondary and tertiary prevention and risk reduction.
∎ Demonstrated experience in facilitating practical workshops and educating on issues including gender based violence, adolescent girls protection and empowerment, GBV response and service provisions.
∎ Strong writing skills and experience in writing donor reports and proposals and grant management.
∎ Ability to organize and prioritize work and competing tasks, meet deadlines and maintain composure.
∎ Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and strengthening project team in a dynamic, challenging and changing context, including experience with remote management.
∎ Excellent communication, listening and observation skills, including ability to create trust, support, maintain confidentiality, respect of all ages, background and diversity.
