Responsibilities & Context:
(a) Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
(b) Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions within the company.
(c) In consultation with the higher management to determine salaries for selected candidates and prepare employment offer.
(d) Managing complex payroll cycles that may include hourly site wages, union dues (if applicable), and salaried tech roles.
(e) Manage processes related to disciplinary actions, staff separation, and termination.
(f) Respond to employee related queries and provide services to all HR related inquiries and requests.
(g) Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of IT & construction.
(h) Make a bridge between management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
(i) Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system by using KPI that screen high performance.
(j) Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
(k) Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date on the basis of inflation.
