Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor/Honors in Public Health or Disaster Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement, Monitor, analyses and report on humanitarian developments, disaster preparedness, contingency planning, early warning and needs assessment;
∎ Prepare response reports, recommendations and proposals for emergency intervention;
∎ Contribute to the preparation of various written reports, documents and communications and related materials;
∎ Provide guidance, leadership, knowledge-help, technical help, and functional help to Health Assistants located in project areas in planning, implementing and evaluating Ferdousi's WCWC beneficiaries
∎ Monitor services delivered by project staff members and the CZM partners (if any) to ensure beneficiary access to appropriate services;
∎ Conduct periodic oversight audits of delegated tasks to the project health staff members, and report to CZM Head Office;
∎ Plan for the smooth administration of health services to the beneficiaries in the project area;
∎ Assist to set up new Ferdousi WCWC as per decision of the authority by following standard criteria.
∎ Monitor and provide guidance to the HAs in discharging her/his duties.
∎ Ensure purchasing of required items of medicine from the reputed pharmaceutical industries and its proper distribution.
∎ Provide guidance to the HAs for processing/forwarding the referral and emergency patients.
∎ Provide support and guidance to the HA for ensuring 100% sanitary latrine among the Health Card holders and to ensure access to safe water in the project area.
∎ perform any other duty as assigned by CZM.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
∎ Excellent command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package.
∎ Excellent emergency response planning and response management skills.
∎ Proven experience in responding to health in emergencies.
∎ Should be a great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy
