Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under direct supervision of Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting Officer and overall supervision of SAFE Programme Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the SAFE programme database.
∎ The incumbent will be assigned to inter alia, the following tasks:
∎ 1. Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of an integrated mechanism for data collection using primary and secondary data collected from the field level;
∎ 2. Identify, suggest and implement technology solutions for Information Management and database system for Energy and Environment programme;
∎ 3. Design solutions to integrate, centralize and automate data and information management within the program for enhanced achievement of ongoing programmes;
∎ 4. Provide support to reporting data and data analysis;
∎ 5. Visit field offices to provide technical support to the usage of information and database systems;
∎ 6. Liaise with other Units of IOM specially NPM in terms of producing map and other necessary information related with population dynamics;
∎ 7. Plan, organize and deliver trainings related to data collection and data entry addressed to volunteers, including other IOM units, external organizations, sectors;
∎ 8. Support the team with data entry activities if necessary;
∎ 9. Provide support with regards to translation of forms, questionnaire, guidelines for information management and operational purposes;
∎ 10. Carry on other database-related tasks;
∎ 11. Be ready to learn new tools and techniques if required;
∎ 12. Perform such other duties as maybe required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Professional course on SPSS, STATA, GIS software will be an added advantage.
∎ • At least one year of experience using the following tools: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visual Studio, SPSS, STATA, ArC GIS 10.2
∎ • Minimum one year of experience in data analysis and development, information/data management, data modelling and reporting
