∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Merchandising, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Merchandising
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference
∎ Skills Required: advanced excel skill, Costing, Garments Accessories, Raw Materials Sourcing
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Merchandising, Production costing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carefully study the inquiries which are received from customers and create a cost sheet with a competitive price range.
∎ Calculate internal costing for each style and compare
∎ Price quotation calling from local suppliers by creating an even playing field.
∎ Compare the integrity of the quotations sent by suppliers and select the most suitable supplier who has execution strengths and gives a better profit margin to Europtex.
∎ Maintain the transparency of all the above processes to the Management.
∎ Time and action follow up of each process such as raw material PI issuing, Raw material in-house, Raw material processing, raw material inspection, all manufacturing processes, and customer inspection processes and shipment handing over.
∎ Make sure the samples are sent to the customer on time.
∎ Introduce new suppliers in the pool regular basis.
∎ Apart from the above, any other tasks which are assigned by the Management as and when a request in order to meet the business needs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Highly preference will be given candidate with experience in costing of TAKKO buyers' order specially for children garments.
∎ Over 10 years sourcing and merchandising experience in Woven and Knitwear apparel products, preferably in TAKKO.
∎ A strong sourcing network and good understanding of European market trend is a must.
∎ Self-motivated, independent, proactive. Able to work under pressure calmly.
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a service mindset and ability to build strong working relationships.
∎ Good command of written and spoken English and computer literacy.
