Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Apparel Design Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design any type of garment ranging from tops to bottoms for Men, Women and Kids.
∎ Lead fitting and work closely with the Technical Team to follow up developments execution step by step.
∎ Should be creative with good design ideas & be capable of executing the garment design as per the given brief/deadline.
∎ Work closely with Merchandisers/ Marketing Team/ Sourcing Team and Factory to prepare the product as per design and other technical aspects within specified deadlines.
∎ Ensure technical execution to include with drawings, including measurements, color pantones, and design detail specifications of all illustrative art.
∎ Maintain aesthetic and design that is on brand throughout all design work.
∎ Develop complete tech packs in coordination with the design team, including detailed specifications, fabrications, and technical drawings.
∎ Global Trend Analysis, based on Theme and Region, propose and develop trendy new designs.
∎ Lead the ideation and conceptualization of garment designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
∎ Stay up to date with fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands to inform design direction.
∎ Conduct trend research and analysis to anticipate future fashion directions and integrate relevant elements into design.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, product development, and marketing, to align on design concepts and product strategies. Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to internal teams and suppliers.
∎ Introduce innovative design elements and techniques that differentiate the brand from competitors and capture consumer interest.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum 5 years of practical experience in a similar position.
∎ The Applicants who have enough knowledge & experience to work with European customers would be an advantage.
∎ Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD tools.
∎ Practical experience with the 3D-Clo Fashion Design Software would be an advantage.
∎ Must have experience with mood boards, drawing/sketching, ideation, tech pack production, digital product creation, and visual presentation development.
∎ Assist the Head of the Department by giving necessary information to run the department smoothly.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the Internet.
∎ Must have very strong communication skills in English for reporting design-related activities with our Head Office in Germany, buyers, and other local agencies.
∎ Ability to work under pressure & independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Ability to work in a team and willingness to travel abroad.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Management.
