• Expertise and experience in food products (food grains, snacks, beverages, etc.) export.
• Proven experience (min 5 years) in banking, shipping, and commercial operations (export/import).
• Strong understanding of international trade documentation and processes.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills will be a strong advantage.
• Smart, confident, and presentable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively under pressure.
• Well-organized and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Must have the ability to prepare the documents using computer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and commercial software.
• Knowledge of trade finance, freight contracts, and incoterms.

Location: Dhaka (Must be willing to travel to port cities & anywhere in Bangladesh as required)

Job Summary: Maria Enterprise is seeking a highly competent and dynamic Commercial Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid command on banking operations, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of export-import processes, shipping logistics, and freight forwarding documentation. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and manage all types of banking activities, including LC, TT, export-import transactions, and related compliance.
• Prepare and process complete banking, shipping documentation, FDA, export permission, phytosanitary certification, etc. 
• Ensure accurate execution of export-import procedures, including customs clearance, HS codes, INCO terms, and international trade regulations.
• Manage and coordinate freight forwarding operations, including rate negotiation, booking, and shipment tracking.
• Maintain strong communication and coordination with suppliers, buyers, banks, and logistics partners.
• Ensure timely submission of all documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in strategic decision-making with market and cost analysis related to logistics and trade operations.

Salary depends on the skills and experience:- BDT 25,000 to 35,000 + TA
