Experience:
Educational Qualifications-
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
Additional certification in Customs, VAT & Taxation, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements-
Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in C&F operations, customs clearance, and port handling.
At least 3 years in a mid-level supervisory or managerial role.
Strong experience with Chattogram Customs, CPA operations, tariff classification, LC documentation, and bonded rules.
Technical Skills-
Strong knowledge of export/import documentation and customs procedures.
Expertise in HS code classification, duty assessment, and customs regulations.
Skilled in MS Office applications and email correspondence.
Experience using ERP or logistics management software (preferred).

Leadership & team management capability.
Strong negotiation and coordination skills with external authorities.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented professional for the position of Manager– C&F Office, to lead and supervise all activities related to customs clearance, port operations, import–export documentation, liaison with stakeholders, and ensuring timely and compliant handling of shipments both export and import at our Chattogram C&F Office.
The position requires strong operational expertise, command over customs procedures, and the ability to manage a high-volume port operation efficiently.
Customs & Port Operations Management-
Oversee all C&F activities at Chattogram Port for both export and import shipments.
Ensure timely customs assessment, physical examination, and clearance.
Supervise preparation and submission of Bill of Entry, Bill of Lading, manifest corrections, and related documents.
Troubleshoot customs and port issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Documentation & Compliance-
Verify export and import documents such as LC, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Insurance, EXP, etc.
Ensure compliance with NBR, Customs Act, SROs, and port regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
Stay updated on tariff changes, duty exemptions, HS codes, and customs notifications.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management-
Coordinate effectively with customs officials, port authorities, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and transport providers.
Liaise with corporate office commercial, logistics, procurement, and finance departments.
Maintain efficient communication with banks for LC and payment-related matters.
Team Supervision & Leadership-
Lead and supervise a team of C&F officers, documentation staff, and port representatives.
Train and mentor junior staff to ensure high performance and compliance.
Assign tasks and monitor daily operations to achieve efficiency and accuracy.
Reporting & MIS-
Prepare daily shipment updates, clearance status reports, and operational summaries.
Analyze port challenges and recommend cost-effective and timely solutions.
Monitor C&F expenses and ensure cost control under approved budgets.
