Responsibilities & Context:

1.       Sales Capability Strategy

·       Develop and implement a structured sales capability framework aligned with company growth ambitions.

·       Identify capability gaps through performance data, field immersion, and leadership input.

·       Build annual capability roadmaps linked to sales KPIs and commercial priorities.

 

2.       Training Design & Deployment: Design and deliver impactful training programs covering –

·       Route-to-market excellence

·       Outlet coverage & productivity

·       Distribution expansion (ND & WD growth)

·       Perfect Store execution

·       Negotiation & selling skills

·       Modern trade & key account management

·       Distributor management

·       Lead onboarding programs for new sales hires.

·       Blend classroom, virtual, micro-learning, and field-based coaching methods.

 

3.       Field Coaching & Performance Uplift

·       Extensive field visit across Bangladesh to conduct joint visits to observe execution standards and coach frontline teams.

·       Strengthen coaching capability of Area & Zonal/Regional Managers.

·       Build structured Individual Development Plans (IDPs).

·       Drive behavioral change from “activity-based selling” to “impact-based execution.”

 

4.       Commercial Execution Excellence

·       Standardize execution tools: call cycle planning, beat optimization, merchandising standards, visibility scorecards.

·       Ensure adoption of data-driven selling.

·       Translate brand and trade marketing strategies into actionable field capability modules.

 

5.       Content & Learning Innovation

·       Develop sales playbooks, SOPs, e-learning modules, simulations, and case studies.

·       Introduce digital learning tools.

·       Build a knowledge repository of best practices from high-performing regions.

6.       Measurement & Governance: Define and track capability KPIs such as –

·       Sales productivity improvement

·       Strike rate & average bill value

Distribution growth

Perfect Store compliance

Training coverage & effectiveness

Evaluate program impact using structured ROI methodologies.

Provide regular capability dashboards to leadership.
