  • Knowledge of online B2B platforms (Alibaba, Tradekey, Go4WorldBusiness).• Strong networking with international buyers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet export targets.
  • Experience working with honey exporters, food commodity companies, or FMCG brands.
  • Understanding of laboratory testing and international honey quality standards.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
  • Experience participating in international trade fairs.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are looking for an experienced Export Manager who has proven expertise in selling honey, agro-commodities, and natural food products to global buyers. The candidate must understand international trade, export documentation, buyer communication, pricing, global market standards, and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • International Sales & Market Development
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new international buyers (B2B).
  • Promote honey and other agro-commodities in targeted markets (Middle East, EU, USA,
  • Asia, etc.).
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain strong buyer relationships.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly export sales targets.
  • . Product & Quality Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of honey quality parameters, moisture level, purity, lab test
  • standards, adulteration checks.
  • Understanding of commodities such as spices, oil seeds, natural sweeteners, and agro products.
  • • Work closely with QC teams to ensure export-grade quality.
  • Documentation & Logistics
  • Prepare and manage export documentation:
  • Invoice
  • Packing list
  • COO
  • Phytosanitary certificate
  • Lab Test Report
  • Bill of Lading (BL)
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, C&F, and shipping lines.
  • Manage shipment schedules and export compliance.
  • . Pricing & Negotiation
  • Prepare competitive export quotations (FOB, CIF, CFR).
  • Negotiate price, quality standards, MOQs, and payment terms.
  • Knowledge of LC, TT, DP, CAD payment methods.
  • . Market Research & Strategy
  • Analyze global honey and commodity market demand.
  • Identify new regions and buyers.
  • Track competitor pricing and export trends.
  • . Compliance & Certifications
  • Ensure products meet international certifications:
  • HALAL
  • HACCP
  • ISO
  • Organic (if applicable)
  • Maintain updated export regulations for target markets.
  • . Reporting
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Update management on buyer pipeline, shipment status, and revenue performance.
