Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the movement of raw materials, finished goods, sample, and chemicals, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal routes.
Track and manage inventory levels in warehouses, ensuring accurate records and smooth operations.
Liaise with suppliers, transportation providers, and warehousing services to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes.
Ensure that all logistics operations comply with local and international regulations concerning hazardous materials and chemical safety.
Prepare bill & challan, shipment schedules, update stock inventories, and maintain records of all logistical activities.
Help optimize logistics costs by negotiating with vendors and identifying more cost-effective shipping solutions.
Work with the store, procurement, production, sales, accounts and customer service teams to coordinate and streamline logistics operations.
