Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Fashion Design/ Textile Engineering/Apparel Manufacturing or related Field

• At least 5 years

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-end women’s wear (Dresses, Outerwear, and Designer Tops, Blazer etc.).
• Technical Expertise: Mastery of manual pattern making and grading. Proficiency in CAD software (Optitex, Gerber, or Lectra) is highly preferred.
• Garment Construction: Deep understanding of draping, fabric shrinkage, and seam allowances for premium fabrics (Silk, Chiffon, Linen, etc.).
• Precision: Ability to interpret complex designer sketches into production-ready patterns.

About the Company PURE & LUXE is a sister concern of PURE GROUP. Operating as both a buying house and a fashion entity, we house the brand PURE & LUXE, which features two distinct segments: PnL Jeans for menswear and Jubaida’s Collection for women’s designer wear. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our merchandising team in Uttara.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Pattern Drafting: Create primary patterns for new designs in PURE & LUXE, ensuring the perfect silhouette and drape.
• Grading: Execute accurate size grading to maintain consistent fit across all size ranges.
• Consumption Optimization: Collaborate with the production team to minimize fabric wastage through efficient marker making.
• Sample Development: Work closely with the sewing and sample department to oversee the transformation of patterns into finished samples.
• Fit Adjustment: Attend fit sessions and make necessary pattern alterations based on feedback from the Design and Management teams.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and solve potential construction issues before the garment goes into bulk production.
• Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive library of base blocks and pattern revisions for future reference.
