Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead business planning and budgeting process for all departments under ISHO Limited, Izakaya & Pitch; Present budget, growth plans and challenges anticipated to the Managing Director.
∎ Finalize business wise growth plan and budget based on discussion
∎ Create roadmap for each of the organization to achieve business goals
∎ Develop objectives team/departments/functions in line with the organizational goals
∎ Periodically review team’s progress and share an update with management.
∎ Review P&L statement for all concerns of ISHO Limited on a periodic basis; Share updates with Managing Director and initiate action as required
∎ Keep abreast of international economic scenarios, technological advancements, novel production methods and market developments in furniture and other relevant industry; Understand implications and analyze the impact on each of the businesses
∎ Participate in the overall organization level strategy development initiatives and share insights based on experience and understanding of best practices and client requirements
∎ Jointly with senior management provide inputs to the long term strategic goals of the organization
∎ Track implementation and progress of strategy throughout businesses; Intervene and lead corrective measures in case of deviations
∎ Seek inputs from senior management, consultants and advisors on potential of new markets, products and customer channels
∎ Review feasibility and risk reports for new projects/ geographies/ market entry; Present recommendation report to senior management for approval
∎ Lead weekly/monthly review meetings with heads of department (Supply chain, Accounts & Finance, Marketing & Branding and sales); Discuss performance, improvements, challenges and escalations; Guide to resolve issues.
∎ Conduct periodic reviews to monitor performance of different business functions; Take corrective measures in case of deviations
∎ Review process changes requirements; Direct team to outline roadmap for change management and implementation
∎ Drive the all the department heads to documents all processes and transection as SOP for smooth operation of business.
∎ Ensure state of the art customer service by setting up standard procedures.
∎ Periodically engage with key and new vendors, advisors and corporate clients across geographies; for broad understanding of organizations performance on expectations; Handle critical clients escalations; Provide resolution and guide teams to act on the same.
∎ Represent business and liaise with government bodies to influence policies for the geography
∎ Build relations and business opportunities in the industry
∎ Liaise with external vendors, consultants, other business leaders to understand business strategy, current scenarios, future plans.
∎ Ensure implementation of business controls and checks for adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance requirements
∎ Liaise with government authorities, inspection teams and auditors in case of incidents of non-compliances or legal escalations; Jointly with senior management outline action plan to tackle issues of non-compliances
∎ Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance required to ensure achievement of yearly plans
∎ Manage effective resource allocation across different teams, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement through appropriate People interventions
