Additional Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
Build and maintain backend APIs and services with Django and Django REST Framework, handling business logic, data processing and integrations.
Design, optimize, and manage the MySQL database schema to ensure fast and reliable data access for products, orders, users, etc.
Deploy and administer the application on DigitalOcean (manage droplets, scaling, DNS, SSL). Use Linux-based workflows and automation as needed.
Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics) into the platform.
Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests; participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the PM and designers to turn requirements into technical specifications and deliver new features on schedule.
Follow agile development processes (stand-ups, sprints, backlog grooming) and contribute to continuous improvement of the development workflow.
