• Build and maintain backend APIs and services with Django and Django REST Framework, handling business logic, data processing and integrations.

• Design, optimize, and manage the MySQL database schema to ensure fast and reliable data access for products, orders, users, etc.

• Deploy and administer the application on DigitalOcean (manage droplets, scaling, DNS, SSL). Use Linux-based workflows and automation as needed.

• Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics) into the platform.

• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests; participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with the PM and designers to turn requirements into technical specifications and deliver new features on schedule.

• Follow agile development processes (stand-ups, sprints, backlog grooming) and contribute to continuous improvement of the development workflow.
