• Strong expertise in Windows/Linux systems, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, or similar).

• Solid understanding of networking, security principles and industry best practices.

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

• Certifications such as CCNP, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.

• Proven experience in large-scale system migrations, cloud transformations and data center management.

• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.

Job Context:

Dhakacolo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager– System Engineering to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to design, build and manage mission-critical infrastructure that powers enterprise-grade cloud, data center and ISP/IIG services. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership qualities and a passion for innovation in cloud and system engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure and high-performance infrastructure solutions for data center, cloud and ISP/IIG services.

• Lead the deployment and management of OpenStack-based private cloud environments.

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and Heat.

• Oversee LAN, WAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, SD-WAN and firewall infrastructure operations.

• Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and capacity planning.

• Develop and execute High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

• Manage cloud cost optimization and hybrid cloud architecture.

• Implement and maintain security and compliance standards (ISO, SOC2).

• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
