CCTV System Integration: Integrate IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Video Management Systems (VMS) with centralized management dashboards. Configure and manage RTSP, ONVIF, HTTP/HTTPS, and other video streaming protocols. Connect CCTV systems to cloud-based platforms through P2P services and APIs.Develop and maintain interfaces between surveillance systems and management software.

The CCTV Integration & Management Dashboard Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, testing, and maintaining CCTV surveillance systems with centralized management dashboards. The role requires expertise in Video Management Systems (VMS), RTSP/IP video streaming, cloud-based P2P platforms, APIs, network infrastructure, and system monitoring solutions. The engineer will ensure seamless real-time video access, analytics integration, data security, and reliable operation of surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities

CCTV System Integration

• Integrate IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Video Management Systems (VMS) with centralized management dashboards.

• Configure and manage RTSP, ONVIF, HTTP/HTTPS, and other video streaming protocols.

• Connect CCTV systems to cloud-based platforms through P2P services and APIs.

• Develop and maintain interfaces between surveillance systems and management software.

Dashboard Development & Management

• Configure and customize monitoring dashboards for real-time video surveillance.

• Design user-friendly interfaces displaying live feeds, camera status, alerts, and system health.

• Integrate GIS maps, analytics modules, and reporting tools where required.

• Ensure dashboard accessibility through web and mobile platforms.

Network & Infrastructure Management

• Configure LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks supporting CCTV operations.

• Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth utilization for video transmission.

• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect surveillance data and system access.

• Manage IP addressing, routing, firewall configurations, and secure remote access.

API & Software Integration

• Integrate third-party applications through REST APIs, SDKs, and cloud services.

• Develop scripts and automation tools for monitoring and reporting.

• Ensure interoperability between CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security platforms.

• Maintain documentation for API integrations and system configurations.

Testing & Troubleshooting

• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and acceptance procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve video streaming, connectivity, storage, and performance issues.

• Monitor system logs and perform preventive maintenance.

• Provide technical support and user training.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical documentation, integration reports, and system architecture diagrams.

• Maintain records of camera inventories, network configurations, and user access controls.

• Generate periodic performance and incident reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CCTV, VMS, or security system integration.

• Experience with IP-based surveillance systems and network infrastructure.

Required Technical Skills

• Video Management Systems (VMS) configuration and administration.

• RTSP, RTP, RTMP, ONVIF, HTTP/HTTPS streaming protocols.

• CCTV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch, or equivalent.

• REST API integration and cloud-based surveillance platforms.

• Network technologies: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, Firewall, Switching, Routing.

• Database management and dashboard reporting tools.

• Basic scripting/programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, PHP, or similar).

• Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux.
