Responsibilities & Context:

1. CCTV Installation & Configuration

  • Site survey and assessment of CCTV surveillance requirements.

  • Installation, mounting, alignment, and configuration of IP/analog CCTV cameras.

  • Installation and configuration of NVR/DVR/VMS and surveillance monitoring systems.

  • Camera focusing, angle adjustment, coverage verification, and image-quality testing.

  • Installation of PoE switches, injectors, power supplies, racks, and related accessories.

  • Configuration of recording schedules, storage, motion detection, and camera analytics.

  • Testing of day/night vision, IR, WDR, motion detection, and other camera functions.

  • Troubleshooting camera connectivity, video loss, recording, and power-related issues.

2. Hardware Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, servers, workstations, monitors, printers, UPS, and other IT hardware.

  • Installation and replacement of HDD/SSD, RAM, power supplies, network cards, and other hardware components.

  • Hardware inspection, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair coordination.

  • Asset identification, inventory management, and maintaining hardware records.

  • Ensuring proper rack installation, cable management, grounding, and equipment labeling.

3. Network Infrastructure

  • Installation and configuration of LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

  • Installation and termination of UTP, FTP, fiber-optic, and patch cables.

  • Configuration of switches, routers, access points, PoE switches, and related network devices.

  • IP addressing, subnet configuration, VLAN configuration, and network troubleshooting.

  • Testing network connectivity, bandwidth, latency, and link stability.

  • Fiber-optic cable termination, splicing, OTDR/power-meter testing where applicable.

  • Maintaining structured cabling, patch panels, network racks, and cable management systems.

4. System Integration & Security

  • Integration of CCTV cameras with NVR/VMS, monitoring stations, and network infrastructure.

  • Configuration of remote monitoring through authorized network/cloud platforms.

  • User account, password, access-control, and device-security configuration.

  • Backup and restoration of CCTV configuration and system settings.

  • Monitoring system health, storage capacity, camera status, and network availability.

5. BoQ:

  • Review BOQ quantities, units, specifications, and descriptions.

  • Obtain current market rates from suppliers/subcontractors.

  • Prepare comparative statements.

  • Calculate material, manpower, equipment, transportation, installation, testing, overhead, and other project costs.

  • Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for taxes, VAT, duties, bank charges, and other applicable costs.

  • Support preparation of the final Tender Price/BOQ.

  • Check arithmetic calculations and consistency between BOQ, price schedule, and financial forms.

  • Contact to OME customer with collect all the required documents as per tender required.

·  Clarification & Communication – Respond promptly to requests for clarification regarding the offered tender price, BOQ rates, methodology, resources, and cost structure.

·  Price Justification – Prepare and submit detailed justification for unusually low rates, including material costs, labour costs, equipment costs, transportation, overheads, and profit margins.

·  Supporting Documents – Provide supporting evidence such as supplier quotations, manufacturer price lists, previous purchase records, wage rates, equipment ownership/rental documents, and relevant market information where required.

 

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare CCTV/network layout diagrams and equipment schedules.

  • Maintain IP address lists, camera schedules, network diagrams, and configuration records.

  • Prepare installation, testing, commissioning, and handover reports.

  • Maintain preventive-maintenance and troubleshooting records.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project/site teams.

  • Provide technical support, training, and handover to the client's designated personnel.

7. Testing & Commissioning

  • Conduct complete testing of CCTV, hardware, network, power, and communication systems.

  • Verify camera coverage and recording performance against approved requirements.

  • Perform network and system acceptance tests.

  • Rectify defects identified during inspection and commissioning.

  • Ensure all systems are operational before final handover.
