Additional Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
Scout and validate suppliers across China, India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh through trade fairs, 1688/Alibaba, agents, and referrals.
Conduct RFQs/RFPs, analyze cost breakdowns (materials, tooling, packaging), and negotiate pricing, MOQ, and commercial terms.
Draft and align contracts & terms including Incoterms, payment terms, IP/NDA, SLAs, and penalties.
Plan and ensure product quality by defining AQL levels, managing PSI/FRI inspections, coordinating third-party lab tests, and executing corrective action plans (CAPA).
Lead factory audits on social and environmental compliance (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX) and material safety standards (REACH, RoHS, FSC, CE).
Collaborate with Finance to develop landed-cost models (FOB/CIF, duty, VAT, port charges, last-mile, and insurance).
Manage private-label product development including specifications, packaging, labeling, barcodes, testing, and certification.
Maintain vendor performance scorecards (OTD, PPM defects, response time, capacity) and conduct quarterly supplier reviews.
