Job Responsibilities:
∎ CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER must be able to ensure involvement of stakeholders in an action learning approach to change for developing organizational capacity to learn and adapt in pursuit of strategic goals
∎ S/he should focus on enhancing organization capacity through alignment of strategy, structure, management processes, people, and rewards and metrics
∎ CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER must be able to integrate talent management components such as recruitment and development, into aligned and synergistic systems to ensure optimal connectivity, mutual reinforcement, for stronger impact which in most organization does not consider as core HR functions resulting companywide lack of direction, clarity, and performance excellence
∎ S/He should be making a pre-emptive strike when organization is at stronger position rather than to solve problems before organization is forced to do at a weaker time
∎ S/he should be creating an enabling workplace where people can work effectively toward strategic goals
∎ Develop and implement and interpret Human Resource policies, procedures and systems and ensure consistency and harmony with the Global HR/OD framework and national labour legislation
∎ Develop and implement human resource plans that are aligned to the organization strategy, plans and priorities
∎ Facilitate its junior departmental staffs in recruitment, selection, induction and orientation processes
∎ Develop and implement performance management systems that all staff can use in facilitating feedback by using KPA and KRA. The monitoring of those KPA daily has to be done by CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER in conjunction of the departmental heads since S/he is a leading member of a Corporate Strategy team of the organization and responsible for the overall achieving overall goals of the organization
∎ Develop and implement employee welfare and wellness services including medical schemes, insurance, security, work life balance
∎ Develop and implement Human Resource information systems, records and reports including availability and accuracy of information thereof
∎ CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER must drive change process that explores the overall dynamics of people systems, and ensure change in one area affects the others ensuring efficiency, meeting deadlines, improving results, both tangible and non-tangible, than before
∎ S/he must be a part of Corporate Strategy and act as Internal Consultant for improving efficiency and performance
∎ He must ensure that employee performance is aligned with organizational goals and that the employees are delivering on these goals
∎ Should track and evaluate the gaps in the work processes and the changes or decisions to be made for corrective action so that work direction and clarity is highly transparent for each and every employee
∎ Help the organization to reduce waste, improve employee performance and thereby, improve overall profitability
∎ Also remove underperforming employees to create the image of performance-based organization and a no-nonsense approach
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ At least 15 years' relevant experience in HR and OD, with a minimum of five years at a multinational organization in senior management level
∎ Strong demonstrable experience of Human Resources planning, recruitment, design and implementation of progressive HR strategies, systems, procedures and practices
