The Manager (Training & Development) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all training and development initiatives for the SuperGolf project, ensuring 5-star hospitality service standards across golf operations, F&B, guest services, and support functions. The role focuses on enhancing employee capability, service excellence, and organizational performance through structured learning and development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement a comprehensive training & development strategy aligned with 5-star hotel and premium golf club standards.
Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) for golf operations, F&B, housekeeping, front office, security, and support staff.
Prepare annual training calendars, budgets, and learning roadmaps.
Hospitality & Service Excellence Training
Design and deliver training on:
Luxury guest service & etiquette
Customer experience management
Grooming, body language, and communication
Service recovery and complaint handling
Cultural sensitivity and VIP/VVIP guest handling
Ensure international hospitality standards are embedded in daily operations.
Operational & Functional Training
Coordinate role-specific training for golf course staff, caddies, clubhouse teams, F&B, and facility management staff.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure staff are trained and compliant.
Work closely with department heads to enhance operational efficiency through training.
Learning Delivery & Facilitation
Conduct classroom, on-the-job, and practical training sessions.
Identify and manage external trainers, hospitality consultants, and training institutes where required.
Introduce modern learning methods (workshops, simulations, coaching, mentoring).
Performance & Talent Development
Support performance management through skill assessments and development plans.
Identify high-potential employees and design succession and leadership development programs.
Mentor supervisors and managers on people development and coaching skills.
Training Evaluation & Reporting
Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and KPI improvements.
Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
Prepare regular MIS and reports for management review.
Compliance & Culture Building
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety, and service quality standards.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, and service excellence.
