Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for both staff and workers. Conduct orientation and ensure proper documentation (Job cards, ID cards, and Personal Files).

  2. Attendance & Leave: Monitor daily attendance, late arrivals, and leave records using the manual/automated punching system.

  3. Payroll Support: Assist the accounts team by providing accurate data regarding attendance, overtime (OT), and deductions to ensure timely salary disbursement.

  4. Employee Relations: Handle worker grievances, disciplinary actions, and maintain a healthy industrial relationship (IR) between the floor workers and management.

  5. Labor Law: Ensure all factory operations strictly adhere to the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 and Labour Rules 2015.

  6. Audit Readiness: Prepare and maintain all necessary registers and documents for social audits (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, or buyer-specific audits).

  7. Health & Safety: Oversee the Safety Committee, conduct regular fire drills, and ensure the availability of First Aid and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on the production floor.

  8. Facility Management: Supervise factory cleanliness, canteen management, and the supply of pure drinking water.

  9. Security Coordination: Manage the security personnel and CCTV monitoring to ensure the safety of the premises and assets.

  10. Utility & Maintenance: Coordinate with external vendors for the maintenance of office equipment, vehicles, and utility services (Electricity, Gas, Water).

  11. Liaison: Maintain relationships with local government authorities (BEPZA/DIFE/Fire Service/Police) as required.
