Job Context:

Lead HR and Administration for a spinning mill, driving strategic people initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining regulatory and buyer‑code compliance. Own workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, performance management, and all factory administration functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR and Administration for the spinning mill, driving strategic people initiatives and ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

  • Develop manpower plans and staffing budgets, obtain management approval, and ensure staffing remains within the approved budget.

  • Design and implement recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs to meet production needs and reduce turnover.

  • Manage the performance management system, identify training needs, and deliver in‑house development to improve capability and productivity.

  • Handle employee relations including grievances, disciplinary actions, promotions, increments, welfare, and motivation while fostering an inclusive, high‑engagement culture.

  • Maintain and update the factory organogram and deliver regular HR metrics and initiative reports to senior management.

  • Oversee factory administration, stores monitoring, transport pool, and security to protect people and property.

  • Liaise and coordinate with government and non‑government agencies, local administration, law enforcement, and community leaders to secure permits, licenses, and local support, and ensure timely renewal of all statutory certifications.

  • Provide support to expatriate staff in line with company policy.

  • Lead and mentor the HR and admin team, offering coaching, performance evaluations, and cross‑functional collaboration to align HR activities with operational targets.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer codes of conduct and manage social and compliance audits and verifications for certifications such as BSCI, Sedex, HIGG‑FEM, SLCP, GOTS, OEKO‑TEX, CTPAT, and related standards, taking corrective action as needed.
