Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities

1. Human Resources Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective HR policies, procedures, and systems.

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations for head office and project/site employees.

  • Maintain employee records, personal files, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.

  • Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure and manpower plan.

  • Ensure proper employee onboarding, orientation, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation procedures.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for management, technical, engineering, sales, accounts, administrative, and site positions.

  • Prepare job descriptions and coordinate job advertisements through Bdjobs, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other recruitment channels.

  • Conduct initial screening, interviews, reference checks, and coordinate final selection.

  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, employment contracts, and other HR documents.

  • Maintain a recruitment pipeline and ensure timely placement of required manpower.

3. Employee Performance & Development

  • Establish and manage employee performance appraisal systems.

  • Coordinate probation evaluations, annual appraisals, increments, promotions, and performance improvement plans.

  • Identify training and development requirements.

  • Develop employee career development and retention initiatives.

4. Payroll & Attendance Coordination

  • Supervise monthly attendance, leave, overtime, and payroll-related information.

  • Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.

  • Maintain proper records of salary adjustments, increments, deductions, advances, and employee benefits.

  • Monitor attendance and punctuality across office and project sites.

5. Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Handle employee grievances, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters, and internal complaints professionally.

  • Ensure proper implementation of company rules and code of conduct.

  • Take appropriate action regarding unauthorized absence, misconduct, negligence, and policy violations.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

6. Bangladesh Labour Law & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and employment practices comply with applicable Bangladesh labour laws and regulations.

  • Maintain proper employment documentation and statutory records.

  • Keep management updated regarding important HR/legal compliance requirements.

  • Ensure proper procedures are followed for employee termination, resignation, clearance, and final settlement.

7. Real Estate / Project HR Management

  • Coordinate manpower requirements with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Sales, and Administration departments.

  • Manage HR requirements for construction/project sites.

  • Coordinate recruitment and deployment of engineers, supervisors, workers, security personnel, sales teams, and support staff.

  • Monitor site attendance, manpower requirements, and employee discipline.

  • Support management in developing manpower budgets for upcoming projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Professional HR certification will be an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and Bangladesh labour laws.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Experience with HRIS/payroll software will be an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in HR/Admin.

  • Candidates with experience in Real Estate, Property Development, Construction, Engineering, or related industries will be given preference.

  • Experience managing both corporate office and project/site manpower will be highly preferred.
